Visiting professors

The Center for Regulation and Democracy is a space for research and debate on the relations between the central State and organizations (regulation in the broad sense) and between the central State and people (democracy).

Bringing these topics together in the same center is justified by the understanding of the strong interrelationship between the system of political representation, the way the central State is organized, and the design of regulatory institutions.

Its main research questions are the political/electoral system, forms of political organization of civil society, corruption, judicial organization and behavior, government relations, and regulatory and antitrust institutions.

A broad understanding of this subject requires the combination of the perspectives of Law, Economics, and Political Science, which is reflected in the development of researchers related to the center.
