Assistant Professor at Insper, works on the development of Engineering programs and projects in the field of Computer Science education. Graduated in Electrical Engineering and holds an M.Sc. from the Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP), with experience in aerospace engineering, developing embedded systems.
His interests include microcontrollers, FPGA, critical and real-time systems, and computer science education. His current research includes: Second Chance: how students behave in different second chance scenarios with pass/fail assessment. Code Quality: creation of a static analysis tool dedicated to embedded systems. Student behavior regarding continuous feedback on code quality. How to provide continuous feedback in open projects. Restructuring of an embedded systems course using micro-specialization.
