Ph.D. in Sociology (2018) from the Graduate Program in Sociology of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Completed a Master of Science (2013) in Criminal Sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), where also specialized in Criminal Sciences (2011). Bachelor of Social Sciences from UFRGS (2013) and in Law from PUCRS (2009). Undertook a post-doctoral internship at the Center for the Study of Violence of the University of São Paulo (NEV-USP) between the years 2019 and 2021.
