At the time, it had 5 employees.   Along with the inauguration of the physical Library, the website was developed so that users could consult the collection remotely. At first, the development of the collection was based on the basic and complementary bibliographies of the disciplines and, little by little, other areas of knowledge and works were incorporated into the collection, until the policy of development of the collection was elaborated and implemented.   Regarding the sources of electronic information, since the year 2000, the Library began the process of subscribing to bibliographic and financial information databases, to provide support to users in data collection.   1999-2002 The first room occupied by the Library was located on the ground floor of the main building, still in the Paraíso neighborhood.   There were about 120 m2 that incorporated: service, administrative, collection and space for individual study with computers. For storage of the collection, the Library maintained sliding shelves that maximized the use of space.   2003-2005 In 2003, the Library moved to a building opposite the main building so that it could better accommodate users, with spaces for group study, and the collection that was no longer possible to be packed in the previous environment. At that time, in addition to expanding its staff and spaces for study and collection, the shelves became fixed, allowing greater movement between the collection.   2006-2011 Already in a new campus located in the Vila Olímpia region, the Library, then with 920 m2 and in a prime area of the school, had more than 100 individual stations and 10 rooms for group study. With an environment more conducive to study, we attracted more users who reflected in the considerable increase in the frequency and number of construction loans.   Also in this year, the Library was renamed Biblioteca Telles, the result of a donation from a Brazilian businessman, for the design of the new space.   2012 In 2012 there was an expansion of the Library. Both the space for individual study and the rooms for group study were extended. As well as the collection, it received new shelves and a new space was inaugurated: a learning space.
