Family Business companies have unique competitive advantages in the current world business scenario. Insper believes in these strengths and the importance of Family Businesses for the Brazilian economy. We trust in their unequivocal commitment to the communities where they operate and their extraordinary impact on our country’s development.
We created the Platform to align academic content and address and integrate events, groups, courses, and applied research related to Family Businesses.
Short-term courses aimed at deepening students’ specific knowledge on topics such as legal and resource-management factors, for instance. Also, programs focused on solving challenges faced by family business members. Medium-term courses for more experienced individuals who own a company or serve as CEOs holding equity interests. Elective courses in Undergraduate and Graduate programs.
Preparation of mini-case and case studies on Brazilian Family Businesses. Also, applied–research projects with the purpose of creating national references. The research initiatives are from the Center for Business Studies (CENEG, for its acronym in Portuguese). There, we created the Family Business Hub (NNF).
