Guilherme Fowler A. Monteiro
Guilherme Fowler A. Monteiro holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (2005), a Master degree in Economic Theory (2007) and a DSc in Management (2010) from the same university. He was a scholarship student at the European School on New Institutional Economics (France, 2008) and the Ronald Coase Institute (China, 2009).
He joined Insper in 2010, becoming clinical professor in 2014 and an assistant professor in 2016. He lectures courses in the undergraduate and master’s programs. He also serves as a strategic consultant and an economic expert in antitrust matters. From 2011 to 2013, he was senior economist and manager of the Competition Economics department at LCA Consultores, a leading Brazilian economic consulting firm.
He conducts research on the interface between economics, law and strategy, having published papers in Brazilian and international academic journals, such as Strategic Organization, Development Policy Review and Global Strategy Journal.
