The Executive MBA program’s goal is to prepare you to lead businesses or enterprises by effectively and efficiently managing and allocating resources while analyzing the organization from a strategic, holistic and sustainability standpoint in order to identify potential solutions and implications to ensure that all decisions are solid and well-founded.

Who should attend

The Executive MBA program is designed for executives with at least five years of professional and managerial experience in a wide range of industries and areas and from a variety of academic backgrounds. Professionals seeking to evolve and gain the preparation required to face organizational challenges and assume prominent positions in the market.

The Executive MBA has total class time of 610 hours and should be completed over eight semesters. Its modular structure is formed by the modules Business Fundamentals, Core Curriculum, Tutoring, Elective Courses, Business Game, Applied Project and International Extension Studies (optional).

Associate Dean MBA Programs

Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering from Poli-USP (1985); graduate degree in business administration from EAESP-FGV (1997); doctor in business administration with specialization in marketing from EAESP-FGV (2004).

Began his academic activities and professorship in 2004 at EAESP-FGV, having also served as vice-director of the Center for Excellence in Retailing.

Worked over 19 years as an executive in the following services and retail organizations: Accenture, Carrefour, Pão de Açúcar and Wal-Mart.

Has received various titles and awards, such as Best Work from the Academic Marketing Division – National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Administration (ANPAD) Award 2008 for the paper: Claro, D. P. and Laban Neto, Silvio A. – “How to build a structured network and be successful in sales: the impact of degree centrality and tie strength of sales force”; One of the 50 Most Influential IT Professionals from Info Exame magazine (2002); as well as others.

Worked at various institutions that develop and manage the retail supply chain, having served as co-president of the Efficient Consumer Response (ECR) Association for Brazil and Latin America, and served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Global Commerce Initiative (GCI). Was a member of the Audit Board of Duke Energy and serves as a Venture Corp. of Endeavor.
