These are:   Effective Problem Solving: Among all the courses in the Business Administration program, this is the most unique. In the sixth semester, the class is divided into groups that must think of solutions to real problems presented by a portfolio of partner companies. It could be a bank, a startup, an NGO, or any other type of corporation. Once a week, the group goes to the organization’s headquarters to work on-site. This is the chance to apply the analytical tools learned over the first five semesters, work as a team, and gain practical market experience even before starting an internship.   Business Opportunity Project (ON): This is an interdisciplinary initiative of the Business Administration program, which integrates different courses from the 5th semester. It aims to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, helping startups and small companies at different stages of development identify business opportunities and propose action plans to boost them.   Curricular Integration: To provide a solid foundation for the problem-solving process, during the first semesters, the basic courses are the same for the Business Administration and Economics programs.   Exchange Programs: Our [international partnerships](/content/insper-portal/en/quem-somos/internacional/parcerias.html) allow undergraduate students to study at prestigious educational institutions in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and South America. The international experience starts in the classroom, with the presence of international activities and foreign students we receive every semester. Before, during, and after the trip, students receive all the necessary guidance to ensure a high-quality international academic experience and the development of global competencies.   Double Degree: As a result of the integration between programs, our double degree in Business Administration and Economics can be obtained with just one additional year of study.  "},{"themes_0":"tipos-de-conteudo:infraestrutura/campus","title":"Our Campus","variant":"image","buttonText":"Schedule a visit to the Campus in São Paulo"},{"titleItem":"Program structure"},{"text":"The program lasts for eight semesters on a full-time basis. During the first three semesters, the Basic Cycle curriculum is the same for Business Administration and Economics, and classes are conducted in mixed groups composed of students from both programs. This integration allows future administrators to understand the economic environment and future economists to become familiar with the business environment.   Starting from the fourth semester, the Specific Cycle begins: it is time to deepen knowledge in Business Administration. Until the sixth semester, classes are full-time. From the seventh and eighth periods, curricular activities are concentrated in the morning so that the student can dedicate themselves to the regular internship program.   It is also in the seventh and eighth semesters that Specialization occurs, where each undergraduate can choose from a series of elective courses to customize their education with a focus on Marketing , Finance , Management , or Entrepreneurship .   In their free time, students are encouraged to participate in research assistantships, teaching assistantships, student organizations, and complementary activities ranging from cinema to debates and workshops.   This intensive study format provides students with a differentiated education, leading them to secure top positions in a diverse job market, always closely followed by the Career Center team.   Additionally, Insper understands that in the real world, any project of medium complexity involves a range of expertise. Nothing is compartmentalized. Therefore, it greatly favors the integration of knowledge, both inside and outside the classroom. This way, the student shapes their Insper experience in the manner that best suits the career they intend to pursue."},{"title":"International partnerships","variant":"image","buttonText":"Learn more about Insper's partnership with universities worldwide"},{"titleItem":"Program Director"},{"variantCarousel":"banners","buttonText":"Ver bio","noPhotoText":"Sem foto","variantGroup":"docentes"},{"jcr:title":"Business Administration"},{"modalidade":"PRESENCIAL","programa":"GRADUACAO","titulo":"BACHAREL","nomeCurso":"Business Administration","tipo":"GRADUACAO","grauINEP":"Bacharelado","subtitulo":"It prepares strategic managers for various sectors, combining theoretical and practical training, critical thinking, and real problem-solving","cursoId":"GRADM","tipoDocRenovINEP":"Portaria","decreto":"Reconhecido pela Portaria SERES nº 949 de 30/08/2021, D.O.U. nº 165, Seção 1, pág. 56, de 31/08/2021."}]
