It also prepares the student for critical analysis of the results.   Finance Operation   - Financial and Capital Markets Develops in the student the competence to choose the financial product that best suits the needs of the company's investment policies and financial fundraising. The knowledge of concepts in the process of interest rate formation in the economy is a fundamental part of this course.   - Controller's Office Equips the student to propose, implement, and improve the use of business financial control management practices. This includes the application of the planning and control cycle, as well as the managerial performance financial indicators that follow this cycle.   - Financial Derivatives By the end of this course, the student will be able to analyze and monitor predefined organizational transactions that employ derivatives. The student will also understand the operational mechanisms of futures, forward, and options markets, including their respective pricing models.   - Corporate Finance Equips the student with the application of financial tools, based on value theory (including concepts of risk and return), to support analysis of the impacts of investment and financing decisions, aiming to optimize company value.   Management for Results   - Company Evaluation Develops the student's ability to use company valuation techniques, comparing their results and analyzing which model best suits each financial decision, whether it is only for value-based management (VBM), for use in capital increases, company acquisitions, or even for use in their investment policy.   - Financial Risk Management Enables the student to identify risks to which the company is exposed and determine an appropriate response, defining which will be accepted, which will be eliminated or mitigated, and how. This course also provides tools for measuring market risk in companies, as well as understanding how to manage them through the appropriate use of financial derivatives.   - Business Financial Decisions Develops the ability to optimize the use of financial resources using financial planning techniques. Students will use practical cases to develop an analysis of how to obtain resources, select their best application, and define how to manage their main risks (credit, rates, currencies, or maturities).   - Financial Resource Management Prepares the student for the creation and maintenance of mixed investment portfolios (fixed income, variable income, and funds) aiming to maximize the investor's utility, as well as for evaluating the performance of portfolio and investment fund managers. The foundations used will be Modern Portfolio Theory and the Single Index Model.   - Final Project 1 The student, together with a team, develops a proposal for the Final Project (TCC).
