These three letters summarize the best environmental, social, and governance practices, fundamental principles for the actions and strategic, tactical, and operational decisions of a sustainable organization.   The Advanced Program in ESG (PAS) at Insper is designed to train professionals to integrate sustainability comprehensively, responding to the growing demand for sustainable operations and the need for a collaborative mindset.   The PAS equips managers, technicians, and analysts to face contemporary challenges such as climate change, reducing social inequalities, applying ecodesign, adopting the circular economy, and addressing technological challenges for sustainability.   Companies with good ESG practices are better prepared for uncertainties, attract the best financial and human capital, use resources efficiently, and become more innovative and resilient.   At the end of the program, the student will be able to:   Understand the relationships between organizations and social, environmental, and economic systems, identifying the risks and opportunities brought by these relationships; Formulate and execute sustainable strategies, identifying the necessary components for their success; Implement solutions to sustainability challenges, applying models and tools and grounding their actions in solid concepts; Analyze the potential impact of sustainability strategies on the business's economic, environmental, and social metrics."},{"titleItem":"Insper experience"},{"text":"Integrated and Comprehensive Program This program is not a collection of isolated courses. It was conceived as an integrated program to be the most comprehensive on the subject, with interconnected tracks and courses. This is because the best way to address sustainability is in a transversal manner across all areas of an organization.   Course Load With 396 hours distributed over six quarters, the Advanced Program in ESG is the only one with a course load compatible with an in-depth study of the complex interconnections involved in management focused on the generation of sustainable value.   Theory and Practice The program was carefully designed to reconcile solid theoretical and practical training. One example is the Integrative Challenge, a transversal course offered from the 4th to the 6th quarter, in which students must seek solutions to a real sustainability problem in their organizations.   Faculty The professors who teach the program are academics and experts in their fields with extensive market experience in sustainability, even before the ESG agenda gained the prominence it has in recent years.   Insper Experience The program offers all the extra-academic components of the school, as well as the support services consolidated in the Student Life program.   Quality of Teaching Insper belongs to the select group of educational institutions that have the Triple Crown of international quality certifications. This group is composed of less than 1% of business schools in the world.  "},{"titleItem":"Profile"},{"text":"The program is ideal for professionals seeking to develop the competencies necessary to assume leadership positions in sustainability and who have at least three years of professional experience, occupying senior analyst positions or higher-ranking positions in companies, non-profit organizations, or governments.   The Advanced Program in ESG is intended for professionals from any area of the organization, such as Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, People and Leadership, among others."},{"titleItem":"Program structure"},{"text":"The program is structured into four tracks — a set of related themes that group courses — formed by different curricular components.   Track 1: Context and Problem   A broad and systemic reading of the social, environmental, and economic contexts that define the major sustainability challenges in Brazil and the world. Based on this reading, it is possible to articulate and define complex and poorly structured problems (“wicked problems”) rigorously.   Courses: - Planetary Boundaries and Sustainability as Strategy; -Systems Thinking.   Track 2: Ideation, Approaches, and Tools   This track initiates the ideation process of potential solutions to a poorly structured problem. With various approaches, methods, tools, and techniques, fundamental concepts of sustainability are investigated with the aim of providing the basis for the structured design of solutions (products, services, systems, processes, strategies, or policies).   Courses: - Sustainable Finance; - Purpose-Driven Marketing; - Sustainability in the Supply Chain; - Leading Corporate Sustainability.   Track 3: Prototyping and Testing   Approaches and methods for prototyping and testing solutions developed with analytical rigor, aiming at learning about the solution and its consequent improvement.   Courses: - Integrative Challenge (transversal) - Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystems - Prototyping Workshops (supported by FabLab)   Track 4: Governance and Control   For each macro phase of the process — materialized in each program track — specific aspects of governance and control are explored and detailed in a transversal and integrated manner.   Courses: - Corporate Ethics; - Corporate Governance for Sustainability; - Risk Management and Compliance; - Reporting and Impact Measurement Methods.   Integrative Challenge   One of the main differentials of the program is the Integrative Challenge, a practical-oriented mandatory course, which takes place between the 4th and 6th quarter, with a total duration of 3 quarters.   Objective   Its main objective is to create the context and conditions for students to apply the concepts, methods, and tools from the Advanced Program in ESG to a real problem related to the theme, whether from a public or private organization, with or without a profit aim.   How it works   Students propose challenges from their professional realities, which are selected and organized into pre-established sustainability themes. With small teams, they work to develop solutions within a design logic, directly applying the content covered in the other courses of the program.   Format   The Integrative Challenge classes follow a “studio” model, with strong involvement and support from Insper's laboratories (such as FabLab, TechLab, computing laboratories, etc.) and its technical staff."},{"titleItem":"Program Directors"},{"variantCarousel":"banners","buttonText":"Ver bio","noPhotoText":"Sem foto","variantGroup":"docentes"},{"variantCarousel":"banners","buttonText":"Ver bio","noPhotoText":"Sem foto","variantGroup":"docentes"},{"variantCarousel":"banners","buttonText":"Ver bio","noPhotoText":"Sem foto","variantGroup":"docentes"},{"jcr:title":"Programa Avançado em Sustentabilidade e ESG"},{"modalidade":"PRESENCIAL","programa":"PGLS","titulo":"PROGRAMA AVANÇADO EM SUSTENTABILIDADE","nomeCurso":"Programa Avançado em Sustentabilidade","tipo":"MBA","subtitulo":"Aprenda a lidar com as questões críticas da agenda de sustentabilidade, das mudanças climáticas e descarbonização às desigualdades e os marcos legais que impactam as organizações.","cursoId":"PAS","decreto":"Resolução CNE/CES nº 1, de 6 de abril de 2018."}]
