Visiting Committee

The Executive Committee is responsible for managing Insper’s operational activities

about-l

Given the understanding of just how important it is for other stakeholders to participate in Insper’s process of continuous improvement, in 2006, the Visiting Committee was created, which is formed by professionals who are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields, including members of the school’s Alumni Community.

The purpose of the Visiting Committee is to strengthen the school’s relationship with its stakeholders and to critically accompany its teaching and research activities in the fields of business and economics. This process to strengthen its relationships has two specific targets:

  • Subjecting the school’s long-term performance and orientation to the critical scrutiny of representatives from society and its stakeholders;
  • Listening to and responding to calls from society in its areas of activity.

The Visiting Committee meets on an annual basis, always during the recess of the academic calendar, and devotes an entire day to discussing the agenda and the reading material distributed prior to the meeting.

When the meeting ends, an evaluation is conducted and a report is drafted with the recommendations made. This document is then submitted to Insper’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee and to the commission’s members as a record of the session.
