Abraji, ANER and ANJ members can get a 15% discount on Journalism and Communication Executive Education and specialization courses at Insper
This May, Insper announces a partnership with the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (Abraji), the National Association of Magazine Editors (ANER) and the National Association of Newspapers (ANJ) to grant members of these organizations a 15% discount on the School’s Journalism and Communication Executive Education and specialization courses.
“Partnering with Insper provides our associates with access to programs and professors who will certainly contribute a lot to their development. These are challenging times and constant training is an unquestionable element for everyone to be prepared and find solutions that these challenges demand”, Juliana Toscano, Executive Director of ANER, highlights.
For the Coordinator of Insper’s Journalism and Communication Program, Professor Natália Mazotte, the partnership “strengthens the school’s mission to raise the quality of public debate, encouraging the training of journalists who already work in the main newsrooms in the country”.

Designed with the objective of enabling communication professionals to understand the quantitative and qualitative metrics of the digital age and use them to their advantage. Professors: Natália Mazotte, founder of Data School and Coordinator of the Journalism and Communication Program at Insper, and Pedro Burgos, founder of Impacto.jor, a pioneering initiative in Brazil that developed metrics to measure the real impact of media outlets on society.
- Impact narratives using data
This course gives participants the tools they need to find out when to use, how to plan and the best way to run multimedia content with high information density. Professors: Pedro Burgos, founder of Impacto.jor, a pioneering initiative in Brazil that developed metrics to measure the real impact of media outlets on society, and Simon Ducroquet, visual journalist with more than 15 international infographics and data visualization awards, experience in the main newsrooms in the country, including Folha, O Globo and Nexo.
Among the courses planned are certifications in “Computer Journalism” and “Data Storytelling”. The certifications are courses of medium duration (one semester) that can be combined to obtain a specialist degree (lato sensu postgraduation degree), a program that Insper will also soon be offering.
How to get the discount?
To enroll in the courses and be eligible for the 15% discount on tuition fees, Abraji, ANER and ANJ members must fill out the admission form and indicate their membership in the partnership section. After that, candidates will be guided through the next steps.
