Insper launches flexible modality for Executive Education programs
The programs, scheduled to start in April, will be offered simultaneously in face-to-face and online formats
With the gradual return of face-to-face courses, Insper felt the need to offer students alternatives to attend Executive Education programs remotely or in-person.
To this end, we created the Flexible modality. It has Executive Education courses that will serve candidates who do not feel comfortable resuming their study routine in a totally face-to-face manner and those who still prefer to learn in person, in the classroom.
According to Prof. Rodrigo Amantea, Insper’s Academic Coordinator of Executive Education, the initiative meets a frequent demand from students seeking our programs. “Many prefer to be in person at school during classes. Others prefer to attend online classes. In both cases, the possibility of combining the face-to-face and online modalities brings convenience and customization of the experience”.
In the Flexible modality, two professorsapply the same content in different formats, in the face-to-face and online modes. Classes will take place simultaneously, on the same day and time. “Each class session takes place simultaneously in two rooms, one physical and the other virtual, with two professors addressing the same content, using the same material and the same teaching methodology, and proposing activities specially designed for this modality,” Rodrigo explains.
It is worth mentioning that occasionally, according to the program design, remote students may come to interact with in-person ones in some activity. That will provide moments that will further enrich the program experience.
The first class
The first program in this modality will be on Strategic Marketing, scheduled to start on April 12. There will be two class sessions per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The program’s objective is to train attendees to understand the role of marketing integrated with organizations’ strategic plans.
