The Executive MBA in Finance prepares professionals to work in corporate finance and the financial and capital markets and to obtain significant and sustainable results at companies and financial institutions.
The Executive MBA in Finance is designed for executives with at least three years of professional and managerial experience in a wide range of industries and areas and from a variety of academic backgrounds. Professionals seeking solid knowledge in the field of finance who want to effectively apply in their careers the content and tools learned.
With the holistic development of the individual in mind, the programs were designed based on three separate dimensions: leadership, professional activities and career.

The programs hold Brazilian and international accreditations that support continuous improvement and contribute to the excellence of these programs through the adoption of rigorous and internationally recognized quality standards.
The faculty is formed by 67% professors with doctorates or Ph.Ds., 22% with master’s degrees or international MBAs, and 11% with specializations, all from top schools in Brazil and abroad and/or with vast professional experience.
With total class time of 642 hours, the program lasts approximately 24 months.
Associate Dean MBA Programs
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering from Poli-USP (1985); graduate degree in business administration from EAESP-FGV (1997); doctor in business administration with specialization in marketing from EAESP-FGV (2004).
Began his academic activities and professorship in 2004 at EAESP-FGV, having also served as vice-director of the Center for Excellence in Retailing.
Worked over 19 years as an executive in the following services and retail organizations: Accenture, Carrefour, Pão de Açúcar and Wal-Mart.
Has received various titles and awards, such as Best Work from the Academic Marketing Division – National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Administration (ANPAD) Award 2008 for the paper: Claro, D. P. and Laban Neto, Silvio A. – “How to build a structured network and be successful in sales: the impact of degree centrality and tie strength of sales force”; One of the 50 Most Influential IT Professionals from Info Exame magazine (2002); as well as others.
Worked at various institutions that develop and manage the retail supply chain, having served as co-president of the Efficient Consumer Response (ECR) Association for Brazil and Latin America, and served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Global Commerce Initiative (GCI). Was a member of the Audit Board of Duke Energy and serves as a Venture Corp. of Endeavor.
