Holding a doctorate in Philosophy and master in Political Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and a postdoctorate from the University of Columbia in New York, Fernando Schüler is a full-time professor and researcher at Insper. He completed non-degree graduate programs in Public Policy and Government Administration at the National School of Public Administration (ENAP) and in Ibero-American Cultural Management and Cooperation at the University of Barcelona (UB). Previously he served as minister of justice and social development for the State of Rio Grande do Sul and as chairman of the Iberê Camargo Foundation. He received a scholarship from the Faculty Research Program of the International Council for Canadian Studies in Toronto.
