She was a professor of taxation at FGV (Law and Business Administration) for 11 years (2008-2019), having participated in the research groups that founded the São Paulo Law School (2003-2007).   She was a researcher and Associate Director of the Fiscal Studies Center at FGV between 2009 and 2013. She was a lawyer and partner in the tax area at several law firms (Mattos Filho, BM&A, Eurico de Santi, CSMV, and FM/Derraik) between 2007 and 2019.    She was director and researcher at the Center for Fiscal Citizenship (CCiF) between 2017 and 2019.    She was a special advisor to the Minister of Economy between 2019 and 2021 for matters related to tax reform.
