Assistant Professor at Insper. His research interests lie in the area of technology and innovation management. The main focus of his work is to understand how organizations manage their innovative processes and the strategies they adopt to improve innovation performance and commercialize new technologies. His current projects examine companies' reactions to changes in employees' mobility patterns, the fragmentation of technological ownership, internal restructuring processes, and government incentives for innovation. He is highly interested in exploring the circumstances under which knowledge produced in academia crosses university boundaries and is implemented by companies. Before starting his academic career, he worked for many years as a requirements engineer in the German automotive sector. Enthusiastic about innovation, he is the inventor of seven patents.
