He holds a M.Sc. (2000) in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on automation and control, from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP) and graduated in Electrical Engineering, electronics modality, from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (1991). He has experience in the field of electronic engineering, with an emphasis on embedded systems and electronic controls, industrial electronics, working mainly on the following topics: embedded systems, digital control, motor control, and automation.
He has been teaching in engineering programs since 2004, involved in embedded systems projects and educational robotics training, as well as advising students on final projects and scientific initiation.
Currently, he is a professor at Insper, in the undergraduate program in Engineering, collaborating in project-oriented courses, in the laboratories of electronic systems, electrical machines and drives, and mechatronic design.
