Program Director of Undergraduate Law Program and co-coordinator of the Constitutional Decisions (DECON) unit of the Center for Regulation and Democracy at Insper. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Law and Philosophy of Law from the Christian-Albrechts Universität zu Kiel (Germany) and the University of São Paulo (USP), obtaining a double degree, and an M.Sc. in Constitutional Law from USP.
He was a scholarship holder for Scientific Initiation, M.Sc., and Doctoral Program from the São Paulo Research Foundation (Fapesp) and the Joint Program for Doctoral Scholarships in Germany (CNPq/Capes/ DAAD). He was a visiting professor at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), where he taught the course Comparative Constitutional Reasoning. He was a professor, advisor, and coordinator of the Constitutional Law program at the Training School of the Brazilian Society of Public Law (SBDP).
He is dedicated to the study of fundamental rights, legal argumentation, constitutional interpretation, the Brazilian justice system, and constitutionality control.
