She did a postdoctoral fellowship at the Neurodegenerative Diseases Laboratory of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, researching Alzheimer's disease (2008-2013). She is a Professor of Engineering at Insper and current Academic Coordinator of the Center for City Studies | Arq.Futuro Laboratory at Insper. Her current interests are social innovation, participatory design, cities and sustainability. She participated in the development and implementation of the Undergraduate Engineering course. She was a visiting professor of Engineering at Olin College of Engineering (2016-2017).
