Marcelo Hashimoto

Assistant Professor | Ph.D. in Computer Science - USP

Marcelo Hashimoto is an Assistant Professor at Insper, where he designs and teaches courses based on Active Methodologies for the basic cycle of Engineering and the specific cycle of Computer Engineering. He is also a member of the Structured Teaching Faculty of Computer Engineering.

He holds an undergraduate, M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo and conducts research in the areas of Engineering Education, Computer Science Education, Interaction Design, Social Network Analysis, and Computer Vision.

He has coordinated innovation events in partnership with Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and provided consulting services in usability and innovation.
