Joice Miagava

Assistant Professor | Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering

Holds a bachelor's degree (2009) and a Ph.D. (2015) in Materials Engineering, both from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP). Completed a doctoral sandwich program at the University of California Davis in a research group specializing in materials thermodynamics and nanoceramics. In 2019, had the opportunity to return to the University of California as a visiting researcher for 5 months. Since 2015, has been a full-time professor at Insper and has participated in designing various courses, aiming to apply active learning methodologies. In 2022, took over the coordination of the Insper Technological Initiation and Innovation program (PIBITI).
