He holds a D.Sc. in Management (Organizational Economics) from the University of São Paulo, along with a M.Sc. in Economic Theory and a B.A. in economics from the same university. He has been a visiting professor at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Fowler’s research interests are institutional economics, organizational economics, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
