Electrical engineer from the Polytechnic School of USP, with a graduate degree in Economics from EESP-FGV, Fábio holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Engineering from USP, with post-doctoral research in Energy Policy at Suffolk University in Boston. He was a consultant for ABRADEE in the regulatory and mathematical modeling areas, a researcher at ENERQ-USP, and a founding partner of Daimon Engenharia, a company specialized in energy software development, having worked as a researcher in dozens of R&D projects in the ANEEL cycle from 2001 to 2015.
Currently, Fábio is part of the Physics and Mathematics track in the undergraduate programs in engineering at Insper, having taught, since 2015, the courses of Physical World Modeling and Simulation, Motion Physics, Electromagnetism and Wave Physics, Electrical Drives, and Introduction to the Theory of Relativity. With the implementation of the engineering programs at Insper, starting in 2015, he participated in several training sessions on engineering education at Olin College of Engineering, in Boston.
