Bachelor in Economics from the School of Economics, Business Administration and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP) and M.Sc. from the Institute of Economic Research at USP. He was a visiting student of the Ph.D. at University College London (UCL) in 2003. In 2005, he obtained a Doctorate in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
Assistant Professor at Insper. His research area is economic growth, with some forays into international trade and industrial organization. He teaches development economics and Macro 101 in the undergraduate program and economic growth in the graduate program.
