Production Engineer from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFScar) with an M.Sc. and Doctoral Program in Business Administration from the São Paulo School of Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-EAESP). He completed specialization programs at Washington University and Harvard Business School. He began his teaching career at the School of Advertising and Marketing and was a professor at various educational institutions, such as FGV-EAESP, FEI, USP-IPT, USP-IPEN, and SENAC.
Professor and researcher at Insper since 2002. He was Program Director of the Executive MBA between 2003 and 2005 and Program Director of the undergraduate program from 2008 to 2009. He is a professor in the M.Sc., MBAs, and undergraduate programs of the courses in Operations Management and Supply Chain Strategy. As a researcher, he has published several articles in the areas of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, and Operations Strategy for both manufacturing and service companies.
He worked as an executive in national and multinational companies. Currently, he provides consultancy and training in operations, processes, quality, and supply chain management for companies such as Votorantim, Itaú, Santander, Bradesco, Cielo, Ambev, Gerdau, Bayer, Roche, Brasken, among others.
