Insper has once again achieved significant international recognition: its Executive Education programs have been ranked among the best in the world by the Financial Times, one of the most prestigious newspapers in economics, business, and finance. In the 2024 ranking, published by the English daily on May 20, Insper stood out in 2nd place in Brazil, 4th place in Latin America, and 31st place globally in the area of open courses. Among custom programs, Insper ranked 2nd in Brazil, 5th in Latin America, and 55th globally.
The Financial Times Executive Education ranking is one of the most prestigious in the world. The newspaper uses a variety of strict criteria to evaluate executive education courses and compile its ranking. Among these criteria are the teaching methods and materials, as well as the appropriate balance between academic rigor and practical relevance. The quality of the faculty is also considered, including their ability to work collaboratively in a consistent program. The relevance of the skills acquired by the students to the work environment, ease of implementation and stimulation of new ways of thinking are also evaluated. In addition, it assesses the follow-up provided by the school after the course, as well as the networking opportunities offered.
Rina Xavier, manager of custom programs in Insper’s Executive Education area, points out that schools evaluated by the Financial Times ranking need to have international accreditations. Insper holds three: from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). “Being on a list with the world’s top business schools represents a much greater accreditation because it is not us who respond to the Financial Times questionnaire. It is our clients and students. They are the ones recognizing our work, which fills us with pride,” says Rina.
Insper’s Executive Education area stands out for its comprehensive and personalized approach, catering for all career stages and offering solutions for professional transformation at an individual and organizational level. The custom programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of each company. Meanwhile, the open programs aim to serve professionals interested in diverse fields, including management and public policies, marketing and sales, finance, strategy and business, technology and data science, leadership, and people. All programs have a strong connection with other areas of knowledge at Insper, which considers integration through technology a critical success factor in the contemporary world.
“From program design to classroom delivery, the responsible teams and faculty members work with great dedication to ensure that students experience excellence and transformation,” says Dannielle Maciel, manager of the open programs. “Being part of the Financial Times ranking indicates that we are effectively impacting those who go through our courses. It motivates us to continue improving our programs to offer the best possible learning experience to our students, helping them achieve their personal and professional goals.”
