With this achievement, the school becomes the first educational institution in Latin America to join the network — consisting of only 20 institutions worldwide — reinforcing its prominent position in the international higher education landscape.   Established in 2012, QTEM connects academic institutions that share a strong commitment to academic excellence, internationalization, and a solid quantitative, data-based approach — requirements that Insper meets through its certifications like the  [Triple Crown (EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA)](https://www.insper.edu.br/content/insper-portal/pt/quem-somos/certificacoes.html)  and ABET accreditation for engineering courses.   Among the partner universities are names like HEC Montreal (Canada), Goethe-Universität (Germany), and Universidade do Porto (Portugal).   For  [Flavia Piazza](https://www.insper.edu.br/content/insper-portal/pt/docentes/flavia-ferreira-piazza.html) , Associate Dean for International Development at Insper, Insper's entry into QTEM confirms the growing recognition of the school as a global reference in teaching and research: “We were approached by the network itself, which identified Insper as an excellent representative,” she says. “This shows that our  [internationalization strategy](https://www.insper.edu.br/content/insper-portal/pt/quem-somos/internacional.html)  is important and working."      New academic and institutional possibilities   Entry into the network will allow, starting in 2026, students in the final semesters of  [undergraduate education](https://www.insper.edu.br/content/insper-portal/pt/cursos/graduacao.html)  and the  [MBM program (Master in Business Management)](https://www.insper.edu.br/content/insper-portal/pt/cursos/pos-graduacao/mbm.html)  to participate in a six-month exchange in QTEM partner institutions, studying quantitative courses and obtaining the corresponding unified diploma.    Students will also have the opportunity to participate in the GBAC (Global Business Analytics Challenge), a QTEM initiative where students from different countries form multicultural teams to solve real challenges with data provided by large companies such as the French brand Cartier.     "Aside from being part of a prominent international program, the student has the opportunity to participate in a project alongside a global company. What we see is that many of these students find it easier to enter the job market in international companies by completing this project,” explains Flavia, highlighting that through the GBAC, students also take online courses focused on developing personal leadership skills.   The program will also bring foreign students to the Insper campus. Students from partner institutions will study courses within the MBM, promoting a multicultural environment and enhancing the internationalization of the classroom.    “By bringing foreign students here, we allow our students at Insper to also have a global experience 'at home' through interactions with other cultures, knowledge, and realities — which is also very enriching,” says Flavia.   Presence in the QTEM network also opens new avenues for institutional and academic collaboration. Besides student exchanges, QTEM promotes annual meetings among its member schools, providing space for sharing practices, institutional presentations, and networking with the network's partner companies. Insper will participate in the next meeting in October 2025, when it will be officially introduced as a new member.   “We are connected with these partner institutions of the network. This brings possibilities for future research. We can connect our faculties to expand research,” explains Flavia. As a pioneering institution in Latin America, Insper also wants to encourage the expansion of regional presence in QTEM.  “We are the first Latin American institution to participate. I want to bring to QTEM the importance of having more partner institutions from Latin America because I believe this is relevant to have a more cohesive, more powerful, and stronger network as well.”    "},{"text":"Internacional [Parcerias](/content/insper-portal/en/quem-somos/internacional/parcerias.html) [Parceria com a University of Illinois](/content/insper-portal/en/quem-somos/internacional/parceria-com-a-universidade-de-illinois.html) [MBA International Week](/content/insper-portal/en/quem-somos/internacional/mba-international-week.html) [COIL](/content/insper-portal/en/quem-somos/internacional/coil.html) [Mobilidade Internacional](/content/insper-portal/en/quem-somos/internacional/mobilidade.html)"}]
