The agreement was signed on March 5 during a ceremony held at Insper, with the participation of senior leadership from both institutions. The initiative seeks to build a long-term collaboration grounded in shared purpose and complementary capabilities. Insper, whose integrated approach across fields of knowledge is one of its core pillars, aims to strengthen its key differentiator: the integration of management, economics, regulation, and technology to improve people’s lives. Sírio-Libanês has been expanding its presence in higher education, leveraging the structure and expertise of its leading hospital. “We are extremely pleased. Transforming society is not a simple task, but it becomes easier when we find partners driven by the same ambition for impact. Insper and Sírio-Libanês are non-profit institutions guided by excellence and innovation. There is a clear synergy between our values,” said Tania Haddad , President of Insper’s Board, during the signing ceremony. The agreement marks the beginning of a structured joint work agenda, with defined areas of collaboration and dedicated teams already engaged in implementing initial initiatives. It also represents a further step in a relationship that had already been developing: Sírio-Libanês is a partner of Insper in the Capstone Project, the final project for Engineering and Computer Science programs, in which students develop solutions to real-world organizational challenges. Both institutions expect the collaboration to progress in an increasingly structured and continuous manner. “We are two institutions that believe excellence is built by committed people with purpose. We share aligned values, common goals, and the conviction that we can contribute meaningfully to society. We want this to be the beginning of a long-lasting journey, with consistent and transformative projects,” added Denise Jafet , President of the Sociedade Beneficente de Senhoras Hospital Sírio-Libanês, at the event. Cooperation structured around education, innovation, and impact In the field of education, the partnership includes the development of innovative educational programs ranging from undergraduate to graduate and executive education. Initiatives include student exchanges, the joint creation and offering of elective courses, applied projects in the hospital environment, and the design of academic programs developed collaboratively. In innovation and entrepreneurship, the collaboration includes the development of Research & Development projects in partnership with industry, as well as strengthening the healthcare innovation ecosystem through engagement with startups. Hospital Sírio-Libanês will serve as a real-world environment for the application of innovation and clinical engineering projects developed by Insper, fostering the integration between academic research and high-quality hospital practice. The partnership also includes collaboration in evaluating the impact of public policies and programs conducted by Sírio-Libanês, as well as the production of knowledge in health economics, expanding the contribution of both institutions to improving Brazil’s healthcare system. Healthcare as a strategic agenda at Insper Insper has been consolidating its work in the healthcare sector through initiatives that integrate public policy analysis, rigorous evaluation of economic and social impact, and the development of technological solutions in partnership with industry. “Insper’s mission is to generate impact, and this partnership fully aligns with that purpose. The healthcare sector offers a unique opportunity to leverage one of our school’s key differentiators: the integration of management, economics, regulation, and technology to improve people’s lives,” says Guilherme Martins , President of Insper. In recent years, the institution has advanced research on the efficiency of public healthcare spending, measurement of outcomes in government programs, and support for entrepreneurship and innovation applied to the sector, strengthening the connection between technical knowledge, management, and evidence-based decision-making. A strong indicator of this movement is that approximately 40% of final projects in Engineering and Computer Science undergraduate programs are dedicated to developing healthcare solutions, reflecting students’ own choices and highlighting the centrality of the topic in the institution’s agenda."},{"jcr:title":"The agreement was signed on March 5 during a ceremony held at Insper, with the participation of senior leadership from both institutions.","alt":"The agreement was signed on March 5 during a ceremony held at Insper, with the participation of senior leadership from both institutions."}]
