One of the most important elements that increases the chances of success of Family Businesses is good governance practices. Governance helps the owners, executives and family members to make better decisions, and to have adequate opportunities to discuss what is critical for them. This leads to better results in the business, more harmony at the family, and positive long term impact. It also helps family business better navigate transitions and successions.
In this program, you will learn what are the main opportunities and challenges for a Family Business in these times of high uncertainty, and how governance can help deal with these challenges. You will also understand what are the main structures needed for a good governance model in Family Business, and how they can be applied in different contexts. Finally, you will plan on how to apply these concepts for your Family Business, and the key activities needed to put what you learned into practice.
