Therefore, we base our educational proposal on two major pillars: student-centered learning and assurance of learning. Additionally, we have developed a series of pedagogical principles to ensure effective results in applying these concepts across all our programs, following an adjustment process aimed at continuous improvement.   To this end, we rely on the dedication and constant improvement of our professors, focusing not only on the transmission of content but also on effectively achieving the learning objectives. Most of our faculty also has research responsibilities, which can be oriented towards publication in scientific journals or directed towards practice.   The idea is to bring together professors of different profiles who are competent in their fields of activity, dedicated, and fully aligned with our values. Only in this way can we achieve our ultimate goal of developing competent and socially responsible citizens, with the courage to innovate and the ability to be change agents wherever they operate.   The result of this concerted effort focused on the assurance of learning is reflected in the high employability rate of our students (94%), the low dropout rate (around 15%), and international recognition in various spheres, consolidated with the achievement of the world's three most important certifications."},{"titleItem":"Pedagogical principles"},{"text":"The management of learning involves the intense exercise of our matrix structure, combining the Academic and Teaching and Learning departments so that short- and long-term goals are addressed in an integrated manner and aligned with the organizational strategy. The pedagogical principles are:   - Scientific rigor : In addition to practical market experience, our professors have solid training and a strong commitment to the quality and scientific rigor of the content delivered in the classroom.   - Comprehensive and holistic experience : Regardless of the program, we aim to develop students not only in the aspect of academic knowledge but also to enhance a range of competencies such as problem analysis and resolution, communication, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, and multidisciplinary vision.   - Focus, dedication, and involvement of the faculty : We have a permanent schedule of initiatives aimed at the pedagogical development of our professors, and the agendas are defined based on needs identified in successive cycles of the learning management process.   This culture of pedagogical development for faculty, as an outcome of the educational proposal and management of learning, gives an exclusive identity to the teaching practices that characterize the Insper experience. The approach considers four dimensions, called PDAF (Planning, Dynamics, Assessment, and Feedback). In 2010, we received the Santander Universities Award in recognition of our faculty development program.   - Learning by experience : our learning dynamics are strongly guided by solving complex problems, which seeks to reproduce significant aspects of professional experience. The student actively participates in class dynamics, analyzing real problems, identifying dilemmas, and making decisions in a context that promotes diversity of ideas and proactivity.   The lesson plans of the courses also follow the problem-oriented logic: each module is presented with a key question or problem, extracted from reality, highlighting fundamentals and the main learning competencies expected to be achieved. Among the applied courses of the Undergraduate, three deserve special mention: [the Effective Problem Solving (REP)](https://www.insper.edu.br/rep/) from the Business Administration program, the [PEE (Problems in Economics)](https://www.insper.edu.br/pee/) , and the [PFE (Final Engineering Project)](https://www.insper.edu.br/noticias/pfe-do-insper-apresenta-solucoes-inovadoras-para-desafios-reais-de-empresas/) .   - Integration : in addition to fostering the double degree in some programs, the integration between courses and disciplines encourages connection between different areas of knowledge, providing the student with a broader, innovative, and multidisciplinary strategic vision.   - Demanding learning experience : in all our programs, the student is motivated to learn and take an active role in the learning process, both in the classroom and in complementary activities or through engagement with student organizations.   The goal is to form individuals capable of identifying relevant problems in their fields of operation and proficient in applying knowledge and competencies that generate valuable solutions for organizations and society."},{"richText":"We have agreements with more than 130 universities worldwide.","madeBy":"Por","title":"Partner- ships","variant":"image","buttonText":"Learn more"},{"jcr:title":"foto de fundo - vermelho - amarelo"},{"themeName":"foto de fundo - vermelho - amarelo"},{"richText":"Insper's main milestones and contributions to debate, teaching, and research","madeBy":"By","buttonUrl":"https://insper.edu.br/content/dam/insper-portal/documentos/relat%C3%B3rio-anual/insper-ra2024-en-digital.pdf","title":"Annual Report","variant":"image","buttonText":"Download the 2024 report"}]
