Our integrated program with courses in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering, as well as Business Administration and Economics, ensures broad job opportunities in the market, whether in the industrial segment (chemical, automotive, aeronautical, naval, oil and gas extraction) or in the service sector (information technology, banking automation, automation systems integration, and consulting).   It is also possible to start your own business by applying the technologies learned to solve the needs of users and companies. For example, one can develop medical devices, home automation systems, smart appliances, and mobile applications that interact with the physical world."},{"text":"  The undergraduate program in Mechatronics Engineering of Insper expects that its graduates become capable of: Using their analytical skills and technical knowledge to design effective solutions to complex engineering problems. Acting as entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs. Acting as agents of innovation guided by the needs of users and society. Keeping up with technological advancements and staying competitive. Leading projects and teams, achieving higher levels of responsibility in their organizations."},{"titleItem":"Insper experience"},{"text":"For students to carry out so many projects with creativity, refined technique, and innovation, Insper designed a unique program. The student-centered and project-based learning methodology prepares professionals to solve all kinds of real-world problems.   Teamwork, design, entrepreneurship, and continuous learning are also present throughout the entire program, from the first days of class. It is the Insper way of teaching, inspiring, and transforming students into distinguished individuals and professionals in the market.   Laboratories   To support practical teaching and foster innovations among engineering program students, Insper has an extensive infrastructure of laboratories.   We were the first engineering school in Brazil to have a Fab Lab, a space where students gather to carry out digital fabrication projects collaboratively, following the guidelines of the global network of digital laboratories created over 10 years ago at the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Center for Bits and Atoms. From this interaction, everything is created: machines, robots, toys, games, models, and much more.   Other laboratories available to students include the TechLab and the laboratories of Materials, Drives and Control, Thermal Sciences, Industrial Automation, Pneumatics and Hydraulics, in addition to the laboratories dedicated to computing and mechatronic systems.   ABET International Accreditation   Insper's Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Computer Engineering programs have received for the first time the quality seal granted by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.   ABET accreditation certifies university programs in applied and natural sciences, computing, engineering, and engineering technology that meet the standards required to prepare professionals to enter innovative technical fields and emerging technologies. ABET, a non-governmental, non-profit organization with ISO 9001:2015 certification, currently accredits more than 4,500 programs in 895 colleges and universities in 40 countries.   The dimensions evaluated and fully met were: program objectives; learning outcomes; continuous improvement of teaching; curriculum; faculty and student body; infrastructure; and institutional support.   Accreditation makes the educational institution better known outside Brazil, enabling global negotiations to establish partnerships between engineering programs and foreign institutions in actions such as student exchanges and the exchange of professors and teaching experiences."},{"titleItem":"Program structure"},{"text":"In the first two semesters, students of the three Engineering programs study together. In the third and fourth semesters, the undergraduate students of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering continue in the same classes, while those of the Computer Engineering program start taking courses from the specific cycle.   In the fifth, sixth, and seventh semesters, in addition to the courses from the specific cycle, a series of elective courses are offered. The Final Engineering Project is conducted in the eighth semester. The ninth and tenth semesters are reserved for final elective courses and the mandatory internship."},{"titleItem":"Program Director"},{"variantCarousel":"banners","buttonText":"Ver bio","noPhotoText":"Sem foto","variantGroup":"docentes"},{"jcr:title":"MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING"},{"modalidade":"CLASSROOM","programa":"GRADUATION","titulo":"BACHELOR","nomeCurso":"Mechatronics Engineering","tipo":"GRADUATION","grauINEP":"Bacharelado","subtitulo":"For those who like industrial automation and robotics.
