The student has the option to take the two specialist certification modules or just one of them, which allows them to obtain recognition for their qualification in a specific area more quickly.   At the end of the program, the Master in Business Management student will be able to: Lead and work in a team : implement collaborative behavioral strategies that contribute to achieving common team goals; Think critically : analyze a fact or form an argument considering the truth of the premises and the conclusions that can be reached; Think computationally : formulate solutions to problems effectively, using technology as a foundation; Manage the business : have competence in management practices within strategic, marketing, and delivery functions, integrated with the use of specific competencies (teams, critical and computational thinking); Handle accounting, economics, and finance : analyze and select among investment and financing alternatives based on the economic-financial diagnosis of companies, with the aim of generating value for business sustainability. The student must have completed an undergraduate program, be fluent in reading English, have good math skills, and have time available for study."},{"titleItem":"Program structure"},{"text":"The Master in Business Management has a total workload of 433 class hours, of which 135 hours are supervised practical activities. To enroll in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation program, the student must pass the three mandatory certifications (Business Excellence) of the MBM.   Business Excellence The Business Excellence certification is divided into three mandatory modules:   Module 1: creating In the first module, the objective is to prepare the student to analyze competitive advantages, read trends, evaluate macroeconomic scenarios and sectoral characteristics, and create innovative strategies or business models for the future of organizations. The focus will be on Strategy, Economics, and Investment Evaluation.   Module 2: acting In the second module, the student prepares to understand the scenario and act. With a focus on Accounting, Operations, Marketing, and Finance, the proposal is to develop a marketing and operations plan to guide the execution of the strategy, aligning this branch of knowledge with corporate finance, encompassing the complexity and quality of decision-making.   Module 3: impacting The last module of the certification develops skills and knowledge for evaluating business performance. With an emphasis on Critical Thinking, Technology, Data, Finance, and Computational Thinking, the student is qualified to implement and manage OKRs and automate the generation of performance analysis information, comparing and evaluating investments in organizational initiatives.   Entrepreneurship and Innovation The specialist certification in Entrepreneurship and Innovation consists of two modules. The student can choose to take only one of them, obtaining certification for the module taken, or both. The specialist certification can only be pursued after completing the mandatory certifications.   Module 4 — Start Propose and develop ideas for new businesses or innovations in existing businesses; Apply concepts of strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation to the development of new business ideas and innovations; Think about opportunities for generating financial, social, and cultural value based on the real needs of people and organizations; Define potential markets and value proposition; Design business models and hypothesis testing; Use Insper ecosystem technologies to create prototypes (MVP); Prepare a pitch deck and present it to stakeholders.   Module 5 — Acceleration Design potential market segmentation and prioritize niche targeting; Conduct interviews with potential customers and map tasks, journeys, and pains; Develop hypothesis tests, experiments, and pivot strategies; Use Insper ecosystem technologies to create prototypes (MVP), conduct experiments, and validate hypotheses about new business ideas and innovations; Understand the application of metrics and indicators, such as customer acquisition cost and life-time value; Evaluate ideas and business models with a focus on scalability, technical feasibility, and financial feasibility; Identify fundraising alternatives suitable for different stages of the entrepreneurial process.   Complete education To complete the MBM, the student needs to obtain four certifications, three mandatory and at least one of the so-called specialist certifications.   After taking the mandatory and specialist certifications, the student can choose other specialist certifications offered by Insper, distributed among the programs in Data Analytics; Marketing Management; Leadership in Teams and Project Management.   The certifications add specialized knowledge for the professional. Each certification is evaluated in isolation, without the need for a Final Project.
