The Master in Public Management (MPM) enhances the competencies of professionals in high leadership positions who already work in public management, private companies, or the Third Sector. The curriculum reconciles solid theoretical and practical training, connecting various areas of knowledge and public management.

Practical experience

Each semester, the program promotes an immersion in Brazilian public management experiences through field visits. These meetings allow the exchange of experiences and contact with government and society managers to discuss how the new instruments acquired in the program could be applied in real cases.

Target audience

Aimed at professionals working with Public Management, the program enables students to work with:

  • Planning, strategy, and management: analysis of public problems; planning and budgeting; organizations and interorganizational arrangements; innovation in the public sector and use of evidence in the public policy cycle.
  • People and politics: leadership; political leadership; performance management; communication and negotiation.
  • Experience sharing: in-depth group analysis of real public management experiences.
