Insper is located in São Paulo, Latin America’s largest and most cosmopolitan city, and Brazil’s main economic and financial center. São Paulo concentrates the headquarters of large national and international companies and banks. The metropolis is also a cultural and gastronomic hub, having a lot to offer to its visitors (link to the city touristic attractions overview).

Industrial Marketing Management (IMM) serves as the premier platform for academic and practical research tailored to the requirements of marketing professionals and scholars engaged in the study and practice of industrial and business-to-business markets. The journal’s worldwide influence is exemplified by the participation of experts and practitioners from diverse regions across the globe who contribute their most recent discoveries aimed at enhancing the performance and productivity of industrial markets. This all-encompassing approach continuously informs readers about the most current research and best practices, empowering them to make well-informed marketing decisions and develop effective strategies in the dynamic realm of global industrial and business-to-business markets.

The 1st Industrial Marketing Management South America Summit seeks to unite academics and practitioners from South America, as well as other regions, who share an interest in business-to-business marketing, with the goal of creating and/or strengthening collaborative research networks. This summit also intends to continue the tradition established by the European and American Industrial Marketing Management summits, which include promoting discussions, sharing cutting-edge research, and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of industrial markets on a global scale. The event will display recent developments in both theory and practice within the realm of global industrial and business-to-business marketing. Leveraging the success of past summits and the rich heritage of Industrial Marketing Management, this gathering assures dynamic conversations, visionary insights, and effective answers.

Important dates

On the evening of 2nd October, we have planned an informal welcoming reception. Your conference fee covers one gala dinner on Thursday, as well as two lunches on Thursday and Friday, along with multiple coffee breaks. Moreover, an award ceremony recognizing the best conference paper will be held during the gala dinner on Thursday (3rd October). We will finalize the program once we determine which papers have been accepted. The ultimate program will provide information on the conference fee, venue address, and more.

Following the conference, and as in past years, authors of selected papers will be invited to submit to a special issue of Industrial Marketing Management.

Paper Submission

The deadline for paper submission is 1st August, 2024 (23:59h BR time).

You should receive a confirmation of your submission within 1-2 days. Please get in touch in case you do not receive the confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation requests must be sent by e-mail to Carla Ramos (carlasdmr@insper.edu.br).
• *Cancellations received by 12th September 2024 (midnight CET) will be refunded, minus an administration fee of 10% over made payment (payment platform fee).
  After the 12th September 2024, no refunds will be granted.
• Delegates who do not cancel and do not attend will not be refunded.
• Substituting a registered delegate with an alternative person (one of your co-authors only) is acceptable until 11th September 2024. The order of the authors will not be changed either in the programme or in the proceedings.
