Associate Professor at Insper, with an undergraduate program in Economics from the University of São Paulo (1998), an M.Sc. in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2001), and a Ph.D. in Economics from Duke University (2007).
Since June 2018, he has been the co-editor of the Journal of the History of Economic Thought, edited by the History of Economics Society and published by Cambridge University Press. He has been a member of the editorial boards of prestigious journals in his field. He has received international awards: the Costantino Bresciani Turroni Prize-AISPE 2007, from the Italian Association for the History of Economic Thought (AISPE) for the best paper presented by a young researcher at the association's meeting, and the Young Researcher Award 2015, from the European Society for the History of Economic Thought (ESHET), for researchers under 40 with significant contributions to the field.
He researches the history of economic science since the 20th century, focusing on macroeconomics and mathematical economics.
