Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of USP (Poli-USP), where he also did his postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratory of Thermal and Environmental Engineering (LETE). Postgraduate in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas de São Paulo (FGV SP). Currently, he is a professor of the Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering programs at Insper. He has worked as an engineering manager and director in large projects in the fields of oil platforms, refineries, petrochemical and chemical industries, electric power generation, and naval industries, among others.
