Economist from FEA-USP, Master's from Univ.Wisconsin-Madison. Ph.D. in Economics from EESP-FGV/SP, with an internship at the Law School of the University of California-Berkeley.

Founding member and former president of the Brazilian Association of Law and Economics (ABDE), Director of the Latin American and Iberian Law and Economics Association (ALACDE). Visiting researcher at the Institute of Law and Economics, Universität Hamburg.

Author of books, scientific and applied articles, and book chapters in journals and publications in Brazil and abroad. Columnist of the column "Law and Economics: under Coase's lenses" at Veja Negócios. In 2022, she was nominated by the Supreme Court (STF) as one of the "100 Most Influential Women in Brazilian Constitutional Law". Former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Economic Analysis of Law (RAED). Member of the Scientific Board of Suprema (STF Scientific Journal).
