Eduardo Faingold obtained his M.Sc. in Mathematics in 2000 from Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA) and, in 2006, his PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, under the supervision of George J. Mailath.
He began his career as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Yale University in 2006, where he became an Associate Professor in 2013. Since July 2018, he has been an Associate Professor at Insper, where he also serves as Program Director of the Doctoral Program in Business Economics.
He was elected Fellow of the Econometric Society in 2022. His research focuses on economic theory and game theory. Currently, his topics of interest include dynamic games, multi-agent learning, and foundations of games with incomplete information.
