Lawyer, holds a Doctoral Program (2019) and M.Sc. (2015) in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). Obtained the LL.M – Master of Laws - in the area of Critical Race Theory from UCLA School of Law (2019). Graduated in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) in 2009.
She is the Deputy Executive Director of the Brazil Human Rights Fund. Author of the book "Rights and Quilombola Public Policies," published in 2020 by D´Plácido publishing house. Her professional and academic career is connected to law and public policies, human rights, civil society organizations and social movements, critical race theory, intersectionality, racial and gender equity, diversity, and inclusion.
