Adriano Borges Ferreira da Costa

Assistant Professor | Ph.D. in Public Administration - FGV

Postdoctoral researcher in Urban Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), holds a M.Sc. and Doctoral Program in Public Administration and Government from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), with an undergraduate program in Business Administration (FGV) and in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP).

Professor at Insper, lead researcher of the Arq.Futuro Cities Lab, and coordinator of the Center for Regulation and Democracy (CRD) of the school.

He served as a researcher and a member of the executive coordination of the Polis Institute, short-term consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), World Bank, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and WRI. He was an assistant researcher at the Center for Public Administration and Government Studies (CEAPG-FGV) and an associate researcher at the Center for Studies in Public Policy and Economics (CEPESP-FGV).

He was a visiting researcher at Spatial Structures in the Social Sciences (S4) at Brown University, fellow at the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy, and senior researcher at the Sustainable Urbanization Lab (MIT-SUL) and the Center for Real Estate (CRE) at MIT.
