He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Finance) from FGV, an MBA in Finance from UCLA, and a degree in Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP). He was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.   His research focuses on corporate finance and trade credit, with publications in leading journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance and presentations at international conferences.
