They don’t always succeed: marketing, sales and after-sales areas often don’t talk to each other.   To meet this demand, many organizations, especially US ones, have recently created Revenue Ops, or RevOps, a department that works to integrate professionals from these different areas with the aim of implementing efficient actions to meet customer needs. The idea is to ensure that different sectors are aligned and focused on strategies to maximize revenue based on consistent customer acquisition and retention, with brand authority and brand recognition.   Few marketing agencies in Brazil offer RevOps services. Sc. in Business Administration](https://www.insper.edu.br/pos-graduacao/mestrado/administracao/)  student at Insper. He began his career studying Law. He is also a specialist in digital marketing and sales, and a speaker. And he believes in the importance of solid academic training to generate results in the corporate environment.   “In the master’s degree at Insper, I looked for a program that could differentiate me in the market,” says Duran. “I was aware of Insper’s expertise in Exact Sciences and how much the college encourages networking. Today, after a major effort, I understand much more about statistics. And many colleagues are now customers and partners.”   Duran’s dissertation defended at Insper, with the title “B2B Conversational Marketing: Unveiling the efficiency of chatbot in generating business opportunities”, is the result of a two-year period of study and dedication and  [is available online](https://repositorio.insper.edu.br/handle/11224/6325) . The work, supervised by Professor Giuliana Isabella, connects the needs of the market with the academic world and brought Duran and the community relevant knowledge when deciding to use a chatbot.   New approach   Duran is the co-founder of Hubify, created in 2016. Between July 2021 and July 2023, he took his master’s degree at Insper. Between 2008 and 2009, when he was still practicing Law, working in business litigation for large firms, he completed a graduate degree in business administration and project management at the University of California.   In 2011, he was an angel investor in the consolidation of the Elefante Verde startup, where he had his first — and remarkable — experience in entrepreneurship. He led the franchising marketing and sales team, which resulted in more than 120 franchises of the brand opened in the country.   After that, he decided to migrate to marketing and co-founded Hubify, which would quickly become part of the Cubo Itaú ecosystem, one of the most important communities focused on the development of startups, created in 2015. “We have been at Cubo since it began. Our proposal is to work with performance digital marketing,” comments Duran, who is 41 years old.   After the merger, 8D Hubify is positioned as the first RevOps agency in Brazil, capable of participating in all aspects of the sales process. “Traditionally, a digital marketing agency works to generate leads.
