The 4th edition of the Scholarship Community Award brought together students, alumni, and collaborators in an event that celebrates the leadership, impact, and sense of belonging that have driven the  Scholarship Program  for more than two decades. Since its first edition, the award has aimed to recognize scholarship students who stand out in their academic and personal journeys, reinforcing the transformative power of education. In a warm and vibrant atmosphere, participants shared achievements and reflections on what it means to be part of a community that believes in diversity and in the potential of each student. Opening with a look toward the future The ceremony began with the speech of  Camila Du Plessis , Executive Manager of Institutional Relations, who welcomed everyone and highlighted the central role of the scholarship community at Insper. Camila spoke about improvements planned for next year and emphasized how the program helps make the academic environment more diverse and innovative. “The Scholarship Community is an essential pillar of our mission to promote transformative education. Each student brings a unique story that enriches Insper and broadens our view of the world,” she said. Next, Priscila Almeida, Institutional Relations Supervisor, reinforced the meaning of the moment: "The Scholarship Community Award is the celebration of a collective journey marked by leadership, impact, and belonging. It is a way to recognize not only individual achievements but also the spirit of collaboration that defines this community.” Recognition in five categories This year’s edition brought new features and expanded recognition into five categories, which reflect different dimensions of the scholarship students’ experience at Insper. In the Academic Excellence category, students with outstanding performance in each undergraduate program were awarded: Business Administration: Beatriz Finotti Fernandes Oliveira and Camilly Sá de Oliveira Computer Science : Esdras Gomes Carvalho and João Lucas de Moraes Barros Cadorniga Economics: Fábio Quessada Mercado and Renan Augusto Carvalho Ferreira Law: Davi Souza Diniz and Erick Mesquita Cruz Computer Engineering : Beatriz Rodrigues de Freitas and Maria Carolina Porto Mechanical Engineering: Felipe Rodrigues Lambak and Fernanda Valesca Santos e Souza Mechatronics Engineering : Quézia Pereira da Silva Moura and Thiago Teixeira dos Santos The Inspiration Scholar category recognized scholarship students who stood out for their academic performance, strong engagement with the Scholarship Program, and for inspiring other students through their attitude and journey. This category included voting among the students themselves: Alan Matheus Alves Barbosa and Alexia Barbosa Pires. The Engagement and Belonging category honored those who strengthened bonds within the community: Dimitri Lottar Rodrigues Florencio and Maria Eduarda Perruci Rodrigues da Silva. In the Impactful Journey category, the spotlight was on those who stood out for their examples of resilience and motivation: Henrique Rocha Bomfim and Layne Pereira da Silva. The Art that Transforms category, a new feature in this edition, selected — through a contest — the artwork that will appear on the program’s T-shirt and other promotional materials in 2026. The winner was Quézia Pereira da Silva Moura, who was also awarded in the Academic Excellence category. Tribute to alumni who transform the program The ceremony also featured a moment of gratitude and recognition to alumni who remain connected to the mission of the Scholarship Program, actively promoting initiatives and fundraising campaigns. Honored were Bianca Barbirato, Franco Veludo, Bruno Igel, Clara Roorda, Jacqueline Winandy, Ricardo Espindola, Samuel Veloso, and Marcelo Novaes, names that contribute decisively to the strengthening and sustainability of the Scholarship Program. A legacy of transformation More than an award ceremony, the event reaffirmed Insper's commitment to the training of conscious leaders committed to social impact. Each story celebrated on stage is also part of the history of the Scholarship Program, which for more than 20 years has been transforming lives and contributing to the construction of a diverse and fairer society. The sparkle in the eyes of the awardees and the enthusiasm of the audience confirmed: the strength of the Scholarship Community lies in every shared achievement, in every dream realized — and, above all, in the genuine feeling of belonging that unites all those who are part of this journey."},{"jcr:title":"Dárcio Lazzarini entre Marcelo Orticelli e Claudio Haddad","alt":"Troféu 4º Prêmio Comunidade Bolsista"}]
