The partnership aims to strengthen the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and the organization of events that contribute to Anatel's institutional mission and the production of academic knowledge.   The agreement, registered as Memorandum of Understanding nº 2/2025, was signed electronically by the leaders of both institutions. Representing Anatel, Carlos Manuel Baigorri, President, and Alexandre Reis Siqueira Freire, Board of Counsellors member, participated. For Insper, Vinícius Cassio Barqueiro, Coordinator of Knowledge Centers, and Vanessa Boarati, Coordinator of the Research Support Office, signed.   Among the main objectives of the partnership are:   - Dissemination of best practices aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);   - Encouragement of academic production through research and dissemination of knowledge;   - Organization of events such as seminars, meetings, and discussions that address Economics, Law, and Technology, areas of mutual interest.   For the President of CeadI and Director of Anatel, Alexandre Freire, the involvement of Insper, as well as Anatel, reflects a commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. "Insper, being a signatory of PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education), a UN initiative, demonstrates alignment with the values present in the White Paper Agenda 2030 and the Telecommunications Sector: Strategies and Best Practices to promote the Sustainable Development Goals. This strategic document reinforces Anatel's commitment to universal connectivity and digital inclusion as pillars of sustainable development," highlights Freire.   The collaboration will be guided by work plans and technical adjustments developed jointly, with periodic meetings to assess progress and set goals.   "The agreement with Anatel is a valuable opportunity to strengthen Insper's role in applied research and expand the impact of academic knowledge on critical issues for the country's development. By combining our knowledge, we can deepen studies in various areas and promote innovative solutions. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to academic excellence and the construction of a more connected and sustainable future," says Paulo Furquim, professor at Insper who led the initiative.     Contributions and commitments   Both parties will contribute specific resources and expertise. Anatel will provide relevant information and data, respecting legal limits on confidentiality and personal data protection. Insper will facilitate the participation of faculty and students in conducting studies and proposing research topics.   There will be no financial transfers between the institutions. The resulting expenses will be covered by each participant's own budget allocations, with services performed on a mutual cooperation basis.     Validity and transparency   The memorandum will be valid until December 31, 2027, and may be extended by an addendum.
