About the programThe main role of business administrators involves planning and executing strategies to improve the company’s development, regardless of the kind of business: large companies, financial institutions, family businesses, among others. Due to their comprehensive profile, the administrators may work in departments such as: Finance, Marketing, Production Management, Human Resources, Business Strategy, etc.
During the first semesters, Business Administration and Economics students attend to the same basic classes. From the forth semester on, each program has its own specific subjects. In the senior year, the students select the subjects they would like to attend, defining their majors and minors. Also during the senior year, the student may submit to internship programs, as the classes are part-time – up until junior year, the course is full-time.
High integration between Business Administration and Economics programs at Insper (with the same basic subjects in the first three semesters of both programs) grants the student the chance of achieving a Double Certification, which means the student may have degrees in both Administration and Economics programs.
From the forth semester on, each program has its own specific subjects. In the senior year, the students select the subjects to attend, defining their major.
