Supporting young talent

Mission

Scholarship Programs are essential for Insper to fulfill its mission. For that reason, the School works to put together a Scholarship Fund with enough resources to fund every talented and academically prepared young adult approved in our selection process and who chooses to pursue one of our undergraduate degrees.

Support the Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund is supported by donations from individuals and companies. Financial resources are also provided by the undergraduate courses, which allocate 1% of its gross revenue to the Fund. You can support the scholarship programs and other initiatives of the institution as well. Click here to contribute.

Scholarships have been granted since 1999. In 2008 alone, over 100 scholarships were awarded:

Full Scholarship

Eligible beneficiaries

Prospective and current students in undergraduate courses with academic abilities and disposition who identify themselves with the School’s Educational Vision and who are unable to meet the costs involved, /// including not only the tuition fee /// but also educational materials and the burden of not working throughout the program due to its full-time nature.

General Characteristics of the Scholarships for Undergraduate Courses

  • The Scholarships correspond to a discount on the tuition fees and cover enrolment and re-enrolment costs. Scholarships do not cover the cost of courses that have to be retaken.
  • Are renewed annually if the student keeps a good academic record as well as abide to the School’s Code of Ethics and Conduct. Student Aid is renewed by request from the student.
  • Are repayable, in installments. The total value to be repaid will be adjusted by inflation rate using the Broad Consumer Price Index (IPCA), with no interest. The repayment contributes to disseminate the sense of commitment and responsibility with the forming of future generation. Former Scholarship students help strengthen the Scholarship Fund and extend to other students the same opportunities they were offered.
    • Repayment is made in equal and successive monthly installments, the first of which due one year after the date set for the conclusion of the course, using as reference the regular length of four years and the date of the student’s entry in the course.
    • After each 12 month period, the amount still unpaid will be adjusted using the annual variation of the IPCA to calculate the 12 subsequent installments.
