Academic Research

Insper has contributed to the expansion of knowledge in the areas of business administration and economy. It is part of its mission and vision the recovery of "rigorous academic research based on real-world issues, which contributes to the enhancement of public policy and organizational practice."

Academic Seminars

The Academic Research area of Insper offers a regular calendar of Academic Seminars open to professors and students, where faculty members from various institutions in Brazil and abroad present cutting-edge research work, which are discussed with the professors of Insper. Many of these seminars are also used for the purpose of evaluating possible candidates for joining our team of full-time professors.

Working Papers

Working Papers consist of scientific papers, dissemination papers, and research reports in the respective fields of its members, and constitute an integral part of the school's effort to disseminate knowledge, given that they address subjects of great importance to society.

Periodical Revista de Economia e Administração

Published quarterly and it is aimed at imparting national and international scientific production on relevant issues in various areas of Business and Economics.

Prizes for Excellence: Education and Research

The Chafi Haddad Prize for Excellence in Education seeks to acknowledge the most remarkable professors in undergrad and postgraduate programs. The George Stigler Prize for Excellence in Research was created to honor the best research papers published by the School's professors.

Center for Public Policies

The Center for Public Policies (CPP) was created based on the ideals of the IFB (Future Brazil Institute), a research institute focused on the production of studies about the Brazilian economy, to encourage the debate about public policy in the country. From February, 2nd, 2009 on, all the activities conducted by IFB were taken over by the Center for Public Policies, which became a part of Insper.
