PhD em Estratégia Competitiva e Corporativa,  pela Purdue University. Atualmente é Professor Associado de Estratégia e Organização, na W. P. Carey School of Business, da Arizona State University (Estados Unidos) com um Joint Appointment no Insper Instituto de Educação e Pesquisa (Brasil).

O Executivo MBA Council fortalece as obrigações entre programas de MBA pelo mundo em tratar com responsabilidade e alta qualidade os assuntos sobre gestão, negócios e liderança. Também contribui para o avanço da educação executiva pelo mundo. No Brasil, são apenas sete membros, entre eles, o Insper.
A Associação Nacional de MBA – Anamba existe há cinco anos e tem como missão “Contribuir para a excelência dos cursos de MBA no Brasil”. Seus padrões de qualidade são pautados em critérios internacionalmente reconhecidos e adequados ao contexto brasileiro. A Anamba conta com apenas sete escolas associadas em todo o Brasil, sendo o Insper, uma delas. O Insper também está entre as cinco escolas membro fundadoras da Anamba.
A European Foundation for Management Development está presente em 82 países e promove fóruns de discussões, pesquisas, networking sobre a prática e o desenvolvimento da gestão. Tem mais de 35 anos de experiência na coordenação de projetos e atividades que promovem o diálogo em torno de organizações e instituições de ensino. No Brasil, são somente seis membros no segmento de ensino, entre eles, o Insper.
O International University Consortium for Executive Education foi fundado em 1972 e é uma associação de programas executivos de educação. O Prof. Luca Borroni-Biancastelli, Diretor Acadêmico de Educação Executiva do Insper é um dos membros da gestão 2010-2011. No Brasil, são membros apenas três instituições, dentre elas, o Insper.
A Association of MBAs é a associação certificadora européia que credencia programas de MBA. Criada em 1967, seus padrões de acreditação são globais para todos os MBAs certificados. O Insper tem seus programas de MBA Executivo certificados entre 167 programas de 72 diferentes países. No Brasil, são apenas cinco instituições certificadas e o Insper é uma delas.
